Lee Minho to be included in Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
The popularity of Lee Minho has reached great heights and his wax body double will be joining the likes of Michael Jackson and David Beckham. As one of the most popular actors from Asia, Lee Minho will have his wax statue added to the collection of Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Shanghai. Lee Minho's agency stated that his exhibition will be brought to South Korea from China at some time.
The decision to add him to the collection of public figures came after the high number of requests from fans. After deliberating for six months and the constant pleas from his fans, officials at the museum decided to start the Lee Minho exhibition.
Before selecting him, an official from the museum stated that besides the care, respect and love from fans, the contributions and activities from the nominee also play part in their decision.
Being recognized as a public figure by Madame Tussauds expresses the vast reach of the actor's success. For over 100 years, the wax museum has been featuring the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Obama, Queen Elizabeth, and Audrey Hepburn.
The wax model of Lee Minho will be separated into over 200 parts with precision measurements to be taken by a production team. For the exhibition the actor went through many hours of costume changes, facial expressions, and poses for which over 500 photographs were taken.
