Do not need people. There is no more sure way to destroy, and I mean to the very foundations destroy, a relationship than to need someone. Being needed sucks. It may not seem like it now, but ask someone who has been married to a very dependent person for fifteen years, or someone who has raised children. Being needed sucks.
You do not need them. You can live without them. Life does go on. Heartbreak should kill you. Like a bullet to the head, or a drop off a cliff, you should die from the pain, but you don't.
