"Whatever happened to that Josh guy?"
"Yeah, where'd he go? He just up and disappeared one day."
"No kidding. Jerk owes me money, too."

I'm still here. I've just been busy. Really busy. I became a work study in the Aviation department a couple weeks ago, putting in 16 hours a week between office work and washing airplanes. My classes started last Monday. I've got one classroom class and two online classes. I took advantage of my last day to drop and add classes, yesterday, and dropped Cultural Heritage of the Southwest (I was butting heads with the instructor already) for Creative Writing. As it turns out, this was a terrible mistake, as the amount of work involved in Creative Writing is about 5 times what I was doing in Southwest. Live and learn, I guess. And just trying to get comfortable with the online format is proving to be a little more difficult than I'd anticipated. In addition, I'm still learning to fly the Cessna 182 and working on my Instrument Rating. The last two days, though, I've been getting a pretty substantial cold or sinus infection, on top of my already-substantial seasonal allergies. When I got to work this morning, my boss talked me into coming back home and resting for the day, which worked out because my classroom class is only on Mondays and Wednesdays. The only thing I had to skip (aside from work) was my flight period, which probably wouldn't have happened anyway, as there's a pretty big storm rolling through the area.

Anyway, that's where I've been. I know it doesn't sound like I'm all that busy to some of you, but this is the most responsibility I've had on a daily basis for over a year. Things are probably going to stay pretty quiet around here until I hit my stride.
