Strangers in a strange land...
Well, I suppose the high had to end sometime. Jen and I are a bit discouraged/melancholy this evening. We're finding ourselves bothered by the fact that we don't know anyone here, and that we can't understand what anyone is saying. It's hard to try to fill our (many) spare moments with meaningful (or at least entertaining) activity. There aren't really any hangouts around here, and even if we found one, we wouldn't have anyone to hang out with, save for each other. We really enjoy one another's company, but it would be nice to have other people to talk to and stuff. It's all part of the learning curve, trying to get settled and adjusted and stuff. I know we'll meet more people and everything will fall into place. But for now, it's a trial.
