OK, after the rant, I think I try writing about the good points of the Anime.
First, Michiru Oushima's score!!! *___* My favorite Anime composer, seriously. I like the Chevalier d'Eon OST still more, but this one's coming directly after it. I was really fired up, when I saw the trailer. The music was SIMPLY georgeous, I fell in love with it right away.
Second: Mitsuki Saiga's voice. *___* I loved her voice in Ashita no Nadja and Terra e already, but her as Yoite beats anything.
Third: Suwabe Junichi's voice I like this voice. I just like it. He has such a talented voice, beatufully shown in Iroha.
Fourth: Daisuke Namikawa's Voice. *___* Through Tobari doesn't beat Akitsuki from Iroha. Still great to hear.
Fifth: The Animation style. It was refreshing new, but they didn't make out as much as they could. T___T But I noticed the backgrounds of Otogi Zoshi (at leas in EP1) are somewhat similiar, only far darker, greyer and sort of disconsolate.
- Kenji Tsuda's voice It's funny, if you try to picture Kaiba from Yugioh or Inui from Prince of tennis into your head, comparing them with Yukimi. LOL. But he also spoke one of Ashita no nadja, who was writing for a newspaper and I liked that role already too.
- Rie Kumigimiya I liked her as Al in FMA. I disliked her as Louse in Zero no Tsukaima or Shana in Shakugan no Shana. Her feemale roles somehow tend to become Tsunderes. It's been really nice to hear her speak a male voice again.
- The whole rest of the Voice cast. The only reason why I didn't drop the Anime. I like listening to the voices and the OST way too much. Why the heck they only screwed up with the rest. T___T
- Yoite of the first few Eps Well, the Manga Yoite in the beginning still seemed to need some more drawing practise, while the Anime Yoite looks really cute in the first few Eps. Just why had they have to make him look to pathethically sick later on?! >_
I absolutely think that the voice actors were perfect in their roles. Especially Gau and Yukimi.
They were doing a great job with the script until the very anti-climactic end. It never got to explain Yoite's past and they automatically made Hattori a bad person- which he isn't completely. AND no Tsukasa! D:
I agree with Rie Kumigimiya. Most of her female characters become Tsundere, which is annoying at some point. I really dislike her as Hotaru in Gakuen Alice and Shana in Shakugan no Shana. But her male voice is just awesome. She completes Miharu's character.
I agree. Her Yoite-voice is sort of rare. Jomy in Terra e sounds more or less like Jing of King of Bandit Jing and Francis/Keith in Ashita no Nadja. A little... boyish? In Mushiuta she spoke a female moster. Well there it was... crazily evil...?
I can't remerber her as Eiri in Cossete well anymore. (Need to rewatch it soon...), but as far as I remember his voice was somewhere about the same as in Terra. Through a little bit more gloomy.
I hope we'll get more of her Yoite-like voice and that this is not a one in a time voice... Like Risa Mizuno's Lia, which never appeared again since Chevalier...

Yikumi's voice is also great, there was only this strange feeling, when I was watching PoT right after Nabari.
