*Randomly walking around, trying to find some new source of food, when he notices the pink-haired samurai. Was that really him? It had been days since he had last seen him, and he seemed somehow different from the one he had talked to then* ...Raikou-san?

[Raikou turned suddenly, hearing Gau's voice. Wait, did that mean that Gau ended up here too?]

Gau! There you are. I didn't know part of this mission involved going into the woods like this. But why are Yukimi and Yoite here? Did Hattori-sama send them on a different mission?

Raikou-san... *It really was him! He was so relieved, even though this was without a doubt a different Raikou than before* I've been so worried about you! It's been days...

Days? [Raikou tilted his head thoughtfully.] But we were just on a mission together. [The details didn't seem important, so Raikou reached out and mussed up Gau's hair with a smile.] I'm glad you're okay.

*Comforted by the familiar gesture, he calmed down and tried to explain* This place is... strange. No one's been able to figure out how to leave. Raimei-san and Rokujo-kun are here, as well as two Yukimi-sans and two Yoite-kuns.

[Things were going to be fine, that's what Raikou figured. Gau was here, and alive, and breathing. That was enough for Raikou to keep going. He was sure Gau knew he felt this way, though the sentiment was always left unsaid.] Hmm. Well, then we'll just have to make the most of it!

[Raikou's face lit up when he heard that there were not just one, but two Yukimi-sans!] Really? More than one Yukimi-san? [A grin slowly spread onto Raikou's face - one that Gau would recognize, because it meant that Raikou was about to have some serious fun.]

*Gau managed to smile as he realized that yes, this was the Raikou he knew. The other one had been different, the subtle changes almost making him feel uncomfortable when they talked. But now this Raikou was here, and it suddenly felt like everything would be alright; the way Gau always felt around him.* Yes, though I tend to just run into one of them. Yoite-kun and Raimei-san have seen both of them, though.

[Raikou liked it when Gau smiled that way. It made him happy, and gave him a little more peace.] Is Raimei all right? [Raikou was always a little concerned about her, even if he would never let her see that part of him. It was important to stay distant from his little sister, for her sake.]

*Gau nodded, thinking to the last time he had seen the blonde samurai.* Yes, she's fine.

[A look of relief washed over Raikou's face before he smiled at Gau, ruffling his hair again.] "Thanks. That makes me feel better. You'll keep an eye on her for me, won't you?" [As usual, Raikou thought maybe it wouldn't be the best idea in the world for Raimei to figure out he had come.]

*Blushes a little at the hair fluffing, attempting to keep his determined face* Of course I will!

[Raikou smiled, smoothing down Gau's hair before pulling his hand away.] "Thanks, Gau. That means a lot." [Because Raikou knew he no longer had the right to look after his sister on his own. He had given that up five years ago.]

*He paused for a moment thoughtfully, trying to remember it he was forgetting to mention anything* Oh! Also, you should know that there's another you around here.

[Tilting his head thoughtfully to the side, Raikou listened to what Gau had to say. He had heard something similiar from Yoite - that he was already there. Only... it wasn't exactly him.]

"Another me? Well, you can have twice as much attention!" [After all, even if it was another him, it was still him and he would always be with Gau, no matter what.]

Well, the other you keeps disappearing for days at a time... it's very worrying. *But his Raikou was here now, so he felt better about the situation. The other Raikou probably had his own Gau somewhere looking after him, as strange as that was to think about.*

[Raikou looked a little concerned, but he was with Gau, and that made everything better, didn't it? He reached out and mussed Gau's hair again, smiling slighty.] "I'm here. You don't need to worry anymore."
