I've decided to start a small collection of newspaper clippings, of articles I find amusing/interesting/whatever and clever caricatures.
Today's loot is from the last page of Ha'aretz, written by Ofri Ilani, and speaks of the beer's sex life. Loose translation of the first paragraph is as follows:
"Which is the closest animal to man? Most people would confidently reply that it is the dog, or maybe the cat or the horse. But for many people in the world, this closest creature with which they develop the most intimate relations is a simple organism, generally unknown and invisible to the naked eye: the beer yeast."
ETA: Oh, I LOVE translating. That's how you end up with something like 'the this' in 'the this closest creature with which'. Originally in Hebrew it's 'haze'. Much amusement here.
