Naaramamo Day 30

Aug 30, 2015 17:38

The penultimate post for August, hasn't it flown by? And can I just say a thank you to you all for the fun I've had from all the posts: the art, the craft, the photos, the sheer prettiness and the enjoyment I've had from all the creativity...

So here it is for today's art.

2015, daily posts

The last one is my favourite, I think.

Oh I'm glad - I did work harder on that one, I just couldn't let the idea go...

I agree with you about the colors on the last - it's striking!

I love old book covers, and especially those with gilt embossing :)

This is my blood kind, I think...
The last one is literally flaming...

It was a darker red before I filtered it :)

These are great quotes! I'm not sure I ever stopped reading fairy tales (so sort of a combination of one and three). That book cover is sumptuous.

Ok, the first one is totally me. :^) They're all great, but me is #1.

My dearest Ogden Nash so often gets it just right...

That first one is *totally* me! I make a good show of being a responsible person, but at my first chance, I'm running to play on a swingset or totally ignore housework. :-D

I love them!

I do love Jane Austen -- do you know which story that's from (my guess it's from Persuasion -- her last, posthumous, novel)?

And yes -- that last one is very legible!

It was actually from a letter Jane wrote to a Mr Clarke, who had made some suggestions on possible future books that were not, err, very Austen :)

LOL! Even better! Austen is definitely invited to my "If I had a TARDIS" garden party!
