But today, I completed a bookmark which had been lying unfinished for... I don't know how long. It was a bookmark similar to this one - same yarn, but different knotting design. It had been sitting with the yarn attached to it (with Lark's Head knots, as one does with macrame) for years probably, just sitting in a pile of stuff in my study. I picked it up and put it in my bag last week, and I did a little bit of it on the bus (I can't remember which day). Initially, a bit of macrame, but then I experimented with a wierd sort of slip-stitch thing with a crochet hook, and after a few false starts, got two rows of that done. Today I continued on and finished it.
I also did work on another one of these abandoned bookmarks. Ah, these poor abandoned bookmarks, abandoned no longer!
