Came across something when surfing the internet..
This guy was complaining on how he got only 10bucks for his wedding ang pow frm
an acquaintance who even wrote her name on the envelope..
Someone commented "Not even enough to cover the cost!"
And another said "Cheapskate ah!"
What's wrong with these people?
U mean you hold a wedding to earn money meh?
I thought a wedding is supposed to be a happy occasion
where the presence of ur guests are more important?
That's what my parents told me..
Hmm.."hotel weddings damn expensive can! that's why must earn back!"

I duno..'coz mine will neva be in a hotel..
Why not? Here's why: (rough estimation)
Number of guests: 1500
Cost per head: $12- $15
Total cost: $18000 - $22 500 (food only)
+
Rental of place: $2000
Decorations: $3000
Make-up plus attire: $2000
Photographer: $2000
Gifts for guests: $3000
Total: $30 000 - $ 33 500
And I haven't even included the miscellanous stuffs yet..like
gifts for the groom..
And the solemnisation ceremony!
Hmm..I wish I was super rich..
Then mebe a hotel wedding for 1500 (150 tables) won't be a problem..
Dun even have to save up diligently 'coz I will be swimming with cash..hahahah..
The wedding will just cost me..hmm...lemme estimate...
Ok..a mere $200 000..for the wedding excluding solemnisation..*GULPS*
ONLY $200 000..?!!#~$!%^......X_x
