"Heels on the sidewalk begging for a backbeat"

The office building where I am doing my placement is near a park, and me being me (and not having had a proper walk in a few days, even though I walked round the big shopping centre twice last night), I decided to walk to the park on my lunch hour, sit on a bench and eat my lunch. Okay, so it wasn't really walking, but it was being outside in daylight hours, which I've missed.
"The park's just over the road," I told myself, and I even checked Google to see if the weather would stay nice. I didn't bother changing into my Converse for the walk, because even I can cross a road in heels (not high heels. Sort of medium-y ones).

The park wasn't 'just over the road'. It was a fair way down the road, over another road, down a few more roads and around a car park. And most of the paths were cobblestones, which are fairly impossible to navigate in anything other than hiking boots. And it started drizzling as soon as I got to the park, so I decided to head back and eat my lunch in the canteen. Except, as I neared the office building, I didn't see the pothole in the path.

Long story short, I tripped over the pothole and twisted my ankle. It's not horrendously bad, it just hurts a bit when I try to walk. Or move it.

Think I'll be staying in the canteen for lunch in future.
