In other news, I received a not-entirely-unexpected kick to the groin that is my life. I've now been turned down for insurance twice, meaning that very soon I will not have insurance.

Precisely! It's stupid that they are more willing to pay for the people that never get sick. Yeah, I know it's how it works, but damnit, help those in need. Throw us a motherfucking bone now and then, huh??

My girlfriend is over $300K in debt, for medical expenses. $300K!! That's Three Hundred THOUSAND dollars .. and we're willing to bet, if we ever bothered to add up the little bits here and there, that it's far worse than that.

This isn't saying ANYTHING about doctors charging $1000 or more an HOUR for their services.

Fuckers. Each and every god-damned one of them. Although, this goes mostly to the ones that make no attempt to work with patients that MUST have surgery and can't afford it.

Disability is a WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE other problem, as both she and both of my brothers have come to know. (An added FUCK YOU to the military for fucking up my brothers both mentally and physically)
