Dying woman's kitty needs home immediately in Maryland.

I have been wanting to cut down on the number of halp posts I put here because it is getting a little bit overwhelming for me to deal with, but OMG, please boost the signal on this one.

Sent to a friend who may want her. Will post as soon as I get home. Am running out of work right now. Thanks for this.

Thank you. I am really desperately hoping someone can give her a home. Oh my god. This is like a terror of mine, you know?

Mine too. My fiancee and I are re-writing our wills to a joint will that stipulates who gets the animals in the event that we both pass. I previously had a will that spelled out exactly who got the animals in the event of my passing/serious illness but that was before I met him. Stuff like this just terrifies me.

I'm about to crosspost and get back in touch with the friend who may be interested. I'll let you know what happens.

Here from a signal boost and just have to comment - my aunt and uncle have done the same thing, naming me in the will (if they both die) with a small 'trust' to cover care and expenses. (I'm a college student so they don't want me to be stuck with suddenly having to get vet care and food and stuff on top of the cost of my own dog, which I appreciate.)

I think it's something people often overlook, but it is important. (What put the idea into my aunt's head was she worked at a nursing home and was CONSTANTLY helping people re-home animals when people came in - that's where she got one of her dogs, actually - and sometimes it was obvious the person dealing with everything just wanted the animals GONE and didn't care where or to whom. There's plenty of bad places animals can end up if no one cares where they go.)

I saw this on Facebook and reposted it. I hate I'm too far away and at critical mass on kittehs (9 of our own and a few country strays and counting...) but I"m boosting the signal as best I can. I love the "wise" ones.

May have a home if the cat can be gotten to Raleigh NC. A local one where the owner could visit would be better though.

talk to the owner - I'll be returning from Baltimore by car on the 14th, although I've also boosted this to my sister, whose wedding I'll be attending.
