Writers' group postscript.
Thank you for your support re: the last entry. A lot of you left comments indicating eagerness to read the story. I'll certainly let everyone know if it's accepted into the market for which I wrote it; if it isn't I am hopeful I will be able to find a home for it elsewhere. Once it's available in a format that can be read, you will know. Believe me, you will know.
This story is especially interesting, as I believe Ms. Knightley-Someday has an artefact in her department related to this story, which is, of course, based on an historical event. I am told that it is somewhat grisly in nature, and I am dearly hoping she can arrange for pictures of it.
Anyway, I read the story at the meeting last night and I think it went over well; it was a hard read, but I got some really good feedback. I gave myself today off, and tomorrow I'll polish it up and in the next couple days I will get it on its way and that will be that.
It feels good to be working again. I can't stress that enough. I am really hoping this up phase lasts long enough for me to accomplish some good stuff.
