Cute Cute Cute OMG
I think we could all use a little cuteness to get us through our work week. To that end, a post. Most of it is cats, because I am a cat person, but late-breaking cuteness news (via onceupon) has me putting a bear at the top.
There is no need to speak German to appreciate the incredible cuteness of Das Nürnberger Eisbär-Baby:

My parents once had a cat named Delilah who would climb into bed with them at night and nurse on their ears. Sort of like this.
Of course, there's always the possibility of a kitty hickey if they move to your neck.
Letting them suck on your face is probably not sanitary, but it is cuter than all get-out.
It will be telling who among my f-list finds the following cute, like I do: this is a video of hairless Sphynx kittens nursing! Sei Shōnagon, in her famous Pillow Book, made a list of "Things Which Are Squalid." On that list were "the inside of a cat's ear," and "a nest of baby mice." I think a nest of naked kittens would probably have gone on there, too, if they'd had naked cats in eleventh-century Japan.
Just in case that's not enough for you: a sleeping Sphynx kitten twitching. Even I, an inveterate lover of cats and ugly animals, have to admit, that is one unfortunate-looking little kitten. So ugly it's cute. Come on. Click it. How often do you see kitten bellybutton? Or a baby gargoyle.
The following isn't cute, but it does offer some insight into how naked kittens come to be: naked cats making more naked cats. Just in case you felt your life was incomplete because you had never watched two hairless pussies rub together.
