The Death of a Thousand Cutes

May 18, 2007 05:00

In the process of uploading some cat videos to share with you, I found this.

A kitten and a full-grown husky play-fight outside.

If you have any love for kittens or huskies, or cross-species cuteness, you simply must watch the whole thing. It's the sweetest thing I've seen in ages. The dog's gentleness is amazing ( Read more... )

I think my heart just melted. That's so cool! I love it! It kind of reminds me of those old Warner Bros. cartoons with the bulldog and the cute little kitten he adopted. Most awesome. Thanks!

Squee! Socute. You can just tell the husky is trying to tell the kitten to come play more, but the kitten hasn't quite got the hang of dog-body language yet.

Now I miss my Indi. She'd do that 'play?' bow thing to me and we'd chase each other around the house.

I KNOW!

It's so cute when they do that. The play thing is like dog body language step 1, the kitten almost has it figured.

It's just so friggin' cute, and it's obvious that dog dotes on that kitten.

I love playing with our friend's GIANT Akita and her hyperactive husky. All I have to do is do the play bounce and they start tearing around like jet-fueled dog missiles.

Oh yeah, you can just see how the kitten is kinda stuck on batting at the paws, and the husky just indulges it over and over!

Oooh, an Akita and a Husky! Sonice. I love that play bounce/bow thing...some dogs have and almost 'wtf?' look when you do it to them, others just go 'playtime!' and go for it.

Why are you up at five in the morning? Why are there already six comments here? Craziness!

Also. Are you going to be helping with the art show again this year? I was just thinking that you, me, and bat_cheva could work out some silly coordinated vampire costumes = p Of course, that could just be a delirious 6:00 A.M. thought because I haven't slept yet.

Because I ALSO have insomnia. You write protracted insightful entries after having neato nocturnal adventures, I post fucking CAT PICTURES.

*cracks up*

My mental state is not up to "insightful" at the moment, I suppose.

I'm going to be wearing my pirate duds, but am seriously considering adding a pair of fangs to that. Because "vampirate" is probably the best word in the English language, even if it is totally made up.

(I'll be helping, but in a less official capacity -- slave labor as opposed to chairing anything; I'll definitely be around most of the weekend. I mean, fuck, where else am I going to go?)

(It's not EVEN 6 a.m. yet. There's still five whole minutes to go.)

That's funny, because I happen to believe that at least the second best word in the English language is "Draculese". A vampirate who speaks Draculese would be so badass that she could rule the world with one bloody fist while sipping a blood and rum with the other. Just think of it, "Yar, maties! I vant to suck ze blood out of this booty before it gets as cold as Davie Jone's vocker!"

ROFL. I'm too good at amusing myself sometimes.

Anyway, it will probably be more relaxing this year without having to chair anything anyway ^_~
