I'm looking for a source for those little plastic ammo racks that bullets come in. Not round-hole loading trays, which I can find online, but the grid-shaped black ones. Specifically, I need them right around .30 cal, or the size of a BPAL perfume imp. I know bullets are sold in little trays like that. I just want to buy them separately

Yeah, those are the round-hole kind, which I did find. I could use those, but I'd much prefer the black square grid kind, and I can't find them.

I got mine from a guy on eBay (we won't discuss THAT transaction... asshat) and friend of mine got hers on eBay, too. ANOTHER friend just picked hers up at a gun shop nearby. Incidentally, mine are the round kind, and my friends got the square-kind. And yes, all three of us use them for imps.

I was delighted to think of it, frankly. Never would've but I was reloading from Sargon's dad's stash, and I looked at the box, and sort of went "DING DING DING!" So I handed him an imp and asked him what caliber it was. We found a couple of trays that fit, but those were all he had. :(

... presumably you did try asking him where he got them, and he gave you the answer of "they came with bullets in"?

(You could totally, I dunno, buy that kind, sell him the bullets at half price, sort of fing...)

Or add the price into the commissions, for people who want to have them in. Something.

Maybe I'm thinking of something different, but why not just go down to a shooting range and talk to them, see what they can't scrounge out? As an added bonus, you can take the ampules down and show them exactly what you need, what size you need, and so forth.

And you could shoot something. You know you can bring your own targets? Get pics of the people who closed down your diner and paste them onto one...
