Really, that should be the name of a band. The Walking Dead.

I feel like crap today. Triple-A craaapI gave blood yesterday, so it's my own stupid fault really. I probably should have waited until next week. When I gave blood a few weeks ago it was a mess. It started out fine. Apparently I bleed very quickly. But as I was getting ready to go I passed out. Then I got the worst cold with a fever and felt like crap for over a week. I'm not sure I'm going to be giving blood anytime soon.

Augh. That sucks! It does weaken your immune system for a little while, which is why I usually vitaminify myself big-time (which reminds me to go take mine right now) before and after. I was REAL close to fainting last night. Sucky!

Not every appointment can go perfectly, though, I guess.

What, get a paid account simply to have more icons, surely you jest!

Oh, and I had an asthma attack, I forgot that part. My mom got really angry and said I was forbidden from giving blood again. Which made me laugh at her.

It was better than the girl next to me who was afraid of needles and whose veins stopped pumping blood. It took her like 3 times longer than it took me, and she was freaking out about the needle the entire time. I really don't understand why people like that give blood.

Yeah, I'm glad that they do, and it's brave of them, but I wouldn't think the worse of them if they declined. I mean, it really does hurt some people, or scare the crap out of them.

I'll say the same thing to you I said to naamah_darling:

As one of those strangers who benefits from anonymous blood (as does my child), thank you. You make a tremendous difference in our lives.
