A windfall!

Well, almost. Today I cut down two HUGE branches from a hazel tree that were scratching the heck out of the van. After I cut, I found they were covered in green hazelnuts. We've never managed to beat the squirrels to the ripe ones, so I'm now trying to figure out what to do with them.

Any thoughts, oh epicurious ones?
