Updates from Minneapolis
Okay, here's what's been happening with me this week.
On Wednesday evening I left for Minneapolis. The traffic was horrible on the way there and I just barely made my flight. Then I arrived at MSP airport to discover that my luggage did not make it on my plane with me. So we stopped by my grandmas, then headed home. Bright and early the next morning I woke up to go to the doctor. Before i left, my dad casually mentioned that he didnt think I had attatched any documents when I emailed one of my finals to my professor. Pankicking, I checked my own email to discover, no, i had not. GREEEATT. at this point i was running late for my appointments, so i tried as best i could not to think about it. blah blah blah i was in denial all day and went last minute shopping instead. oh yeah. and it was like 9 below, a temperature i have forgotten about COMPLETELY. it is in subzero weather that your jeans freeze into stiff tubes and your nostrils stick together and your eyes hurt from the frigid air. bleeech. yeah, so in the evening i got to see my bff, chuck. we got tea at the hardtimes cafe and talked about life. i think she will be my life planner while i am home. then on christmas eve i thought i would finsih the paper, but had no motivation and successfully avoided it again. christmas morning was good becasue i felt absolutely no obligation to think about the paper. i opened presents with mom and dad, then ate breakfast. We went over to the neighbors in the afternoon for cookies and coffee. they just got a new puppy, so it was fun fun. AND i realized that my mom is totally the neighborhood gossip. she was totally talking shit about everyone on the block. a-mazing! after that was the marathon family christmas. it was not as progressive as usual. we started at my cousins for drinks and appetizers. INCLUDING chocolate covered ritz with peanut butter inside. YUM! Arouynd six we went DOWN UNDER for australian/new zealand chrismas at my aunt and uncles. we played trivia games and ate an authentic aussie holiday picnic. i finally finsihed my paper. There were a lot more difficulties, but i have to pee, and i am at a coffee shop alone and cannot leave my shit sitting here. wah wah wah. anyway, i can no longer concentrate on telling every detail of the past week of my life. you can imagine the WONDERFUL details.. oh yeah. one more thing. there is no snow for sledding, but i plan to go skating ASAP! wooohooo!
