XMFC AU (powered) Recommendations
Here is my rec list of wonderful powered AUs. If they don't have the complete sign they are still WIPs, just to be prepared :)

Nine Eleven Ten by Subtilior
Summary: Years later, Charles would remember that day. Sometimes he would wonder if he could have changed anything; other times he would despair over what he had since become.But he would always hold the image in his mind: Raven, laughing, and his thoughts flying alongside her on strong wings, silver-gold through the winter air. Once upon a time.
This tale leans on the fairy tale beauty and the beast, but is much darker and more heavily involved with politics and a broken world. Head the warnings for consent and the rating with this one, but if you are into well thought out and ensnaring stories this is the one to go to. It's Erik/Charles and it eats my brain and my hearts out. The first of three parts is done and I'm biting my fingernails waiting for the next update. It just lures you in.

Shortly after the events of X3, Magneto dies and wakes up as a young boy. Stuck in a young body, with his future stretched in front of him,
he has a chance to begin his life anew.
I love a good time travel fic and this is brilliant. You see how differently Erik grows up this time and how that changes him, even if he still remembers his first life. It is interesting to figure out how this memories will shape his relationship with the current Charles, and how his views on politics have changed.
How To Be Co-Ruler Of Your Own Country Without Really Trying by luchia
Erik intends to recruit Raven's supposedly amazing, all-powerful older brother. Instead, he finds himself dealing with Charles Xavier, a weak, tweed-addled professor who seems to think powers don't matter nearly as much as personality. Erik's misconceptions are blown apart when Raven goes missing.
This is technically the beginning of a series, but you can read it as a stand alone too, so I add the complete tag here :) This one is funny and light with a healthy dose of bamf!Charles that sweeps Erik off his feet, so if you like action with your romance it is exactly what you are looking for.

So Erik starts dating Charles, a human, and he's all embarrassed about it but then, BWAHREVELATIONANDLIFECHANGINGVIEWCHANGE, an he loves him regardless and is proudly showing off his very human lover.
BUT THEN: (Oh no!) Charles' mutant abilities pop up. (Late bloomer?) And Charles immediately shows Erik, thinking about how happy he will be to not contradict his beliefs by screwing a normie.
But Erik hates it.
But not because of the mutation itself, he just doesn't like that Charles has one, because now Charles is a BAMF and doesn't need Erik to protect him all the time. (And Erik was always slightly turned on how he would always be stronger than weak Charles; kinda like a size kink) So Erik feels unneeded because Charles can just cancel out his powers (Erik's) with a thought
and broods. He won't speak to Charles, whenever Charles enters a room he leaves, etc.
Charles thinks Erik doesn't like his mutation and tries to suppress it, trying to fit in again but that only make Erik even more irritated, Erik
thinking Charles is uncomfortable with his gift. (Mutant and Proud!)
So misunderstandings all around and stuff, but eventually happy ending and lovely cuddle time on the couch?Who doesn't love a good highshool!AU with angsting teenagers full of feelings and misunderstanding that perhaps may be targeted by part of the government to experiment on? Love this verse and it's look out on what's happening with mutants while still centering on Charles' and Erik's relationship.
Hellfire (AU) by Cesare and helens78
A modern dystopia in which mutants are slaves. ErikLehnsherr has been searching for Sebastian Shaw for close to a decade,and the trail's led him to an exclusive club that rents enslaved and collared mutants to wealthy humans for a variety of sexual uses. Posing there, he meets one of the club's patrons, Charles Xavier, who isn't what the club thinks he is, either. Is Charles going to be an ally, or is he going to stand in Erik's way?
This series is a modern-setting dystopian slavery AU; that means many of the characters are survivors of slavery (both sexual and nonsexual), abuse (mental,emotional, physical, and sexual), violence, and torture, frequently while they were underage. Although those things aren't the focus of the story, any number of characters may refer to their own pasts, or have their pasts referred to by other characters.
If you haven't read that one yet you missed out. Seriously. Head the warnings and just go read, because nothing I can say here would be able to capture the amazing thing this fic is properly.

Several years after the beach scene, Erik actually manages to do what Shaw failed to: he creates an almost entirely mutant world and wipes out most of humanity. Sometime during Erik's conquest, Charles got captured by Erik's 'team' of mutants (idk who, anon, be creative!). Erik kept Charles locked away in a safe house until the conquest was over.
Now that he's established himself as the ruler(ish) of this new world-order, Erik brings Charles to his new home/palace and informs him
very politely that he, Charles Xavier, is to be his new consort. Charles is less than pleased.
Can have dub-con/non-com in it if anon should so wish/feels is necessary.
Ungh. This fic breaks my brain. It's practically what's in the prompt but the words and the world the author built from it are breathtaking. You end up sitting on the edge of your seat hoping and fearing with Charles, I swear.

Charles here is so good for Erik and vice versa. You constantly have this thread of evil Shaw in the background, who is the root of all their problems, realy, and you simply want to hug them and protect them from what you fear will happen because somehow something is bound to happen... Their characterization is great, I especially love this Emmy and Raven.

Sorry if it's been prompted before, but I need a Secretary fusion for these two. Charles is a professor who needs help around the house
and with his work, Erik is the slightly broken young man who comes into his employ, and eventually the two develop a D/s relationship with Erik learning to open up and trust.
You do not need to know Secretary to read this, because this anon builds the world up so beautifully and structured it's no problem to follow the politics there. This is so much more than the prompt asked for, the reasons for how and why Erik ends up as PA to Charles are heartbreaking and their relationship develops so slowly that you ache every step of the way for them. And how they deal here with their powers is a take on it I've never seen before <3
