Powerless
There was another powercut tonight, just as I tried to send the next emither installment to Pellegrina. Anyway, it should now be on its way. Luckily the power came back in time for University Challenge!
Teaching in Lancaster was mostly okay, even if the topic wasn't exactly cheerful (Depression, Schizophrenia and Suicide in Adolescence...). Couple of students complained about the grades I'd given them for their assignments. They both felt hard done by, because they'd done psychology before. However, I am pretty sure the reason they got low grades from me was because they didn't give enough detail to explain what was going on, and they both failed to answer the question I actually set them. Sorry, gals. I asked them to bring in their scripts next week and we'll have a look and if they don't like my reasoning then, they can have it second-marked...
If I can make myself, I want to spend some time tonight drafting the covering letters for a couple of jobs I want to apply for. CV needs updating, too.
