5) Went to bai nian with yc's grandparents with Juls and then went back nanhua to bai nian on 4th day of New Year. Haha nh produced a 10A1 this year! Broke my record le lol. Very moved by the fact tht coach remembers my name =)
6) I just bombed a hundred bucks on Yoga's concert! Haha going to watch with Seow Tian. My first PAID concert. Previously watched Zpop twice, free tics.
7) Damn packed weekend from 20-22th Feb. It's all the unusuals.
Chionged Mahjong with weewee, f4 and shuaige on Fri morning (wth morning play mahjong =D) all the way till evening then went to watch Yoga's concert with Seowtian at 7pm. I AM NEVER WALKING FROM KALLANG TO INDOOR STADIUM AGAIN. Sweat like poop. Was uper disappointed that he din sing 伯乐 and 你是我的眼. S.H.E was damn hyper though and Olivia was gd as expected. =)
Sat morning chionged to buy da gua's pressie then met shaoz at the Buddhist Lodge to attend a talk by Ajahn Brahm. Personally it was a very resonating experience because what he spoke on was not new but very value-fortifying. Great jovial speaker, not exactly what you would think of a monk. =D after tht headed down to Bugis and celebrated da gua's bday at Chong Qing Steamboat. The turnout was bigger than I had expected haha. I was initially REALLY concerned about being outta place.. When I was in service I wasn't very close to this bunch of men either, let alone now. But then again, when you open your heart and people opens theirs, at the end of the day, we're all people, nice people. eddie got these two painful piercings on his lips though ha. We call that body art o_O anw really glad da gua enjoyed himself. On the way to the toilet with him, he told me, "wah I never had so many ppl celebrate my birthday before.." Like I told fat, from day one till today, he nvr fails to be my soft spot. =D
Sunday was whoaho, daddy's bright spark brought us to Lim Chu Kang. Linked up with my second uncle and aunty and five of us took a van to Lim Chu Kang. Haha as soon as I reached Jalan Bahar wahahaha the memories all start to flood. We even entered the Chinese cemetary! Despite walking up and down the cemetary so many times back in Ahmi I nvr knew my ah gong was buried there. My uncle found ah gong's tomb with ease. After tht we cruised up Lim Chu Kang road and I can't help but start telling my dad stories (well he was from police so nvr chiongsua alot in forests) Went past Civil Defence Academy, murai, gedong, neo tiew, the banglah accomodation...omg. o_O memories of atec. Finally we reached all the farm places. Visited many many farm, goat farm, vegetable farm, fruit farm, frog farm.. Was damn full from the two bottles of goat milk. For someone who hates milk that IS a feat. Baby wasn't at fish farm so I told uncle dun need to go fish farm, cos fish farm is quite a distance away. Anw it was such a weird trip. Weird but beautiful. =D seldom see my folks so energetic hahaha. By the time we ended it was like 3 plus?? Chionggggged home and pia ngohiang! Picnic was at 7 omg and I reached home at 4.30pm o_O really just nice made it in time, and thankfully all of them were late haha. Had an amazingly curious night lol, first time having a picnic on the Waves. Shall wait for sheeyong to upload the photos.
Today is rest.
8) Just returned from vball and pretty tired. Last night I suddenly felt that I've been draining too much of yang, aunty and baby's time. It's always been me initiating this and that, wanting to do this and that, wanting to go here and there. It's high time to be less selfish.
Kudos to xl for helping to contact peeps for farewell ytd. Was slightly an awkward affair but many thanks to wee, shuaige and f4 who managed to help me cushion that with a comfortable sense of familiarity. Not that I'm saying I am unfamiliar with my classmates haha, but just that we've all drifted quite a fair bit.
Had a great night at Oil's 21st on friday too. Kinkiest award eventually still went to Sexy lol, cos oil say I nvr persist till the end, despite baring my back for her =D Shao the lifeguard, wee the bballer, ber the gardener, sexy the rocker, sy the teacher, pingu the genie and me, the topless househusband hahaha.
By 21st March, all uncancelled items will be erased for aesthetic purposes.
9)Bought a Spalding volleyball yesterday for just $27! What a steal! Haha folks were stunned when I told them I intend to bring the ball over to Nippon. As in really the O_O expression lol. And finally got a pair of black frames from 77th for $15. It's a new design, the previous ones I din really like. Though it's still not my ideal teardrop (saw one from Flesh Imp for $35 -__-) but I shall make do. Ok very little things left on the list. Very good.
10) Amazing. I actually bought EVERYTHING on my ITEM list except the cam (getting my specs tml) which I have decided to buy only after I fly over. WoW. Haha, I took the vball and specs as bday gifts for myself. When I told aunty that, he said "orh, hint hint" and I replied "lol no need to hint, everything on my list, I bought myself already, nothing left to hint"
Been trying to revise Jap, both kanji and grammar. Writing mails to Kevin in Jap helps too. I think I ought to get down to revise physics seriously but I can't really see that happening. It's too serious for my mind now. Been at home quite a bit, either mobwar-ing or lazing around, hoping something exciting happens out of the blue. Oh wells. Another weekend has just passed.
Took up French using eprep to kill some time and learn a new language. In case I need to take up a module in another language at least I have a lil foundation. It costs just $20 after a $170 subsidy using the credits given. Ha since yang and aunty both gonna take up jap, I decided to join baby with french lol. oddball.
Sat was spent with lactic and her fren from the States. Have nvr woken up so early in many days ha. Reached harbour at 8 and we brought him to Sentosa lol. We went to the dolphine lagoon, a place (amongst the many places in Sentosa) tht I thought I would nvr step foot on as a local. Was pretty cool though. He swam with the dolphins while we just watched and took photos. Brought them around the beach, Southernmost Point and then Underwaterworld. The classic tunnel travellator thingy's still there haha. Huge scary fishes left my eyes transfixed. We ended the day with lunch at Seah Imm, to let him try eating at a hawker centre. Although we intended to an ethnic tour initially, I guess we were all pretty worn by 3 ha. He went back to hostel and supposedly toured Chinatown and Little India by himself later in the evening. Caught up a bit with lactic as we shopped around in Vivo ha. I've never stepped into most of the shops we went to lol. Din noe tht Desigual actually sells men's clothes. Saw a really nice pastel red tee there, and a handbag from Topman this season. Damn they both cost $99. o_O
