Thank FUCK that's over...

Well, Anti-xmas was, as I expected, a time of resounding grinchy-ness.

Xmas morning was a deathtastic-ly early wakeup to go see my Nephew decimate the wrapping on his christmas presents. Then off to my Uncle's house down the road to put up with drunken asshole brother all day, while trying to not throw darts at him (the pointy ones from pubs, not the paper plane variety). I did however score some COOL egyptian ornaments for Xmas, which put me in a slightly less grumpy mood... Got two matching cats and a coffin-box kinda thing with a Sphinx on top.

After family functions, I went with younger brother to idle at his place with his flatmates and a few friends. Drifty Dan nearly blew up his Supra doing burnouts in the driveway and I watched a giant moth hatch from a cocoon. Despite all this *excitement* I soon became bored again so I moved on to hang out with a workmate and her buddies for a while. Nice enough people, just nothing like me. I then headed off to a party with people more like me, but I couldn't drink and make merry with them because I was driving. After half falling asleep on the couch I decided to head home and sleep.

Today was a late rise (YAY) and pottering around the house, then hanging out in the sun with a lovely lady by the name of Emah, who is very spunky and very much free-spirited like myself, and I introduced her to some NZ metal by way of Ulcerate, Graymalkin and more... She wants more metal, who am I to deny her?! :D

Then it was off to Aphelon-Cam's house to hang with the band and have a coffee or two and be given SEVEN cds FULL of new metal to listen to. My mp3 collection now stands at 4468 songs. A long way to go till I hit that million. ONE DAY! *shakes fist*

And here I am now, sitting all alone in the dark with a bottle of wine, toasting myself for not going completely bug-fuck insane this christmas. New years... Well, that's going to be interesting! :D

Merry anti-xmas everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful couple of days.
