no

Most of my life I have had a problem saying that little two letter word "No". Naomi would sit there when we were younger waving her hands at me and saying, "Nic it's two letters". Maybe it's the disappointment in someones eyes that get me, they might seem like they have accepted what you have told them but their eyes tell a different story.

When I signed up for Dogsville, Lars Von Trier asked if I would do all three films in his series. I jumped at the chance, the man is inspirational and I was looking forward to working with him. Recent scheduling conflicts have forced me to pull out of Manderlay. I wanted so much to do all three films, and there are times I wish I could be in two places at once. I love acting, and when a good role is offered to me - I can't say no. Then I feel bad because I can't manage to squeeze it in.

Bella is so much like me in that respect, you only have to ask and off she goes - unless of course your name is Connor, then she'll toy with the request for a while. They grow so fast, sometimes I look at them and wonder where the time went. How did they get from the most perfect little babies to these amazing young adults? Time tends to fly.

I still get woken up in the mornings by two people crawling into my bed, sometimes when they are excited they still jump up and down. Bella likes to make up songs that she will sing off key at me until I can't stand it anymore. We still have pancake breakfasts but now Bella and Connor tend to cook them. I always end up with a kitchen to clean - but it's worth it. They are worth it.

If I need to catch up with any of you - and I know I do - my s/n is ljnicolekidman.
