LASTDAYOFCLASSESWASYESTERDAY!
I went to the Flatliners concert after school ended, and had planned to party at Jesse's place.
Yeah, change of plans. Ended up taking Josh to the emergency room at 4am because we were worried about the amount of alcohol he consumed within a small amount of time. We(I mean me, Michelle, Jesse and Brendan) all sat there worrying and shit. After we called his mom and she came and picked him up, we sat in Tim Hortons and had a meeting. I pretty much curled up in the booth and slept while they talked.
But, the concert was amazing! I love the Flatliners, and my friends barely, or had never, heard of them, and they had a great time! As soon as the first song started (which was awesome! They played Fred's Got Slacks") the floor turned into a giant mosh, and somehow Brendan made it to the front-center. After being in the mosh for a minute and realising where Brendan had been (I was jealous! D:), I somehow made my way up and was next to him for the rest of the show... I don't remember that part... Anyways, I was the front of the mosh for 90% of the show. I was mad that I didn't get bruises... I have minor ones on my knees, and I'm not sure if it'sa bruise, but I got punched in the upper back... I wanted lots of bruises cause the most was intense and I was in pain...! I swear Chris's mic stopped working 'cause you couldn't hear him at all... At the end of the show, I shook hands with Chris and the bass player!:D
Fred's Got Slacks, THIS RESPIRATOR, Bleed, Meanwhile in Hell, ...And the World Files for Chapter 11, Shithawks, This song is like Thunder and Lightning in a Wide Open Field, and Eulogy were all played! I was SO happy! These songs are great! My friends went in with low expectations, and they came out liking the music! :D
Opening acts: Feast or Famine, Cobra Skulls and Broadway Calls. They were all good, but BC was my least favorite out of all the bands...
