(no subject)
Since, university started a few days ago, I thought maybe I should post about it? I don't know... Maybe it's a good idea.
Well, I dropped world lit for an English course... Since I thought world lit WAS english.
Latin's the course I don't really want to take, but might as well stay in it just to learn it. The class is so... Eww. I don't think Latin is my thing. I'm scared I'm going to loose all my Japanese, because Latin has a set amount of sounds, but they're completely different... I'm going to try to get some Japanese done along the way so I don't forget for second semester...
2 Linguistics courses, and they're good so far. I made a friend in one of them, too! :D She just moved here from China... But, the text is obvious and easy to read, so I'm pretty happy with it. The homework may take time, but it's easy, too. :D
English. god, it's going to be long for the first month. I have to ready 4 novels I think in the first month. I'm not big on reading. I mean, I LIKE reading, but I read stuff that I pick out, or my sister brings home. I like NON-FICTION. I like reading about people, music, dietary stuff (like, nutrients and vegetarianism), and yeah. I'm kinda picky about novels. I have to read a novel each weekend for the next month.
Anthropology. Seems really interesting. I don't like archeology, but hopefully, the teacher can make it fun. He's pretty funny, and the class is almost a big talking session so far. I"m pretty happy with it. And I know a lot of people in the class, too. :D
I joined 2 clubs, but don't know if I'll actually stay in them. Linguistics club, and Veggie/Vegan club. Motivation to STAY veggie. I had a long run, but broke it yesterday D:... I eat a tiny amount of chicken.
Anyways, I gotta get reading the novel. The Dubliners. I recognize some of the area's names, but I don't really remember if I went there or not last spring...
I'm trying to listen to Streetlight Manifesto on my iPod, and my sister has Swing Life Away - Rise Against playing through the house...
OH OH OH! Ludo's been releasing TONS of info lately. New MV coming coing soon for a song off of Broken Bride? I HOPE HOPE HOPE it's Part I: Broken Bride or SAVE OUR CITY. Me and Kim were talking about who would make a good actor for the Traveler, And we agreed Convy would be awesome. AND They're FINALLY releasing Elektra's Complex! THey got a side project The New Heathers, and have 1 song out, and it's alright.
