Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I find myself in the position of needing to find a new employment situation that will pay the bills and not have me feeling so stressed out. I realize that in this situation, it makes sense that I should reach out to the wonderful network of people that I have in my life, be it virtual or in-person. I therefore would appreciate any feedback, leads, etc as I embark on this job search.
Due to my new business partnership with Ed Ehrgott and the work we are doing to created www.sacredtouchschool.com, I would prefer not to be working full time, although I can take exception if the right job comes along.
I have worked in the following positions:
Center for Sex & Culture, Operations Manager - includes scheduling and booking events, promoting events, working with teachers and performers, coordinating volunteers, bookkeeping, and general organization and admin work
Emery Ed Fund, Temporary Database Specialist - included data entry and clean up, organizing volunteer files.
Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Admissions Director and Continuing Education Director - included student recruitment, data entry, scheduling admissions events, scheduling Continuing Ed events, working with Cont. Ed teachers, applying for CE credits, organizing and overseeing volunteers, working with mass email and online registration programs, writing marketing copy, and other admin work
I have experience working with the following:
Microsoft Office and Outlook
Mass email programs - Cvent, TargetX, Dada Mail
GradPro database for Academic institutions
Telosa Exceed! Database
SalesForce database (basic training on how to use this program)
QuickBooks and Quicken
Joomla (I am still learning some of the details)
I am proficient with both Macs and PCs
I am also trained as a massage therapist and am a Certified Sexological Bodyworker. I would like to spend more time developing my practice around touch-work and coaching people in massage and around issues of sexuality. I’m interested in connecting with other practitioners - bodyworkers, therapists, and other alternative health practitioners.
Again, any info you have that might be helpful would be appreciate, be it job leads or thoughts about the kind of work that I could be applying for.
Much thanks and lots of love and appreciation!
Nellie
