Post the Sixty-Sixth - Ken is Made of Awesome!
So tonight was just Ryan (MacBeth), Ken (MacDuff), Mike (Dir.), and me.
With Mike there to stand behind me and say "I want to see it like Naomi said." things went sooooooo much smoother. The guys got the fight and Ken, after an hour and a half, clicked on the "side step, lift the sword, lunge" combo, which is why he is made of Awesome!
You know what else is made of awesome? Warm blueberry pie with chocolate ice cream!
Also the "Eureka" writers for quoting "The Princess Bride".

Muriel's Wedding
Bill Hunter was filming The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) and Muriel's Wedding (1994) at the same time, each requiring him to have different length hair, beard and to be in different parts of the country. Both films developed international cult followings and prominently featured the music of ABBA.
The Princess Bride - Bonus on this, a funny one and a bittersweat one
Vizzini's advice on not getting involved in a land war in Asia is derived from principles stated by Field Marshal Bernard L. Montgomery (Viscount Alamein) in a speech in the House of Lords on 30 May 1962: "Rule 1, on page 1 of the book of war is: 'Do not march on Moscow.' ... Rule 2 is: 'Do not go fighting with your land armies in China.'"
Mandy Patinkin revealed that acting out Inigo's quest to avenge his father's murder brought back memories of losing his own father to cancer in 1972. He said that when filming the scene when Inigo kills "The Six-Fingered Man" he felt like he had just "killed" the cancer that killed his father.
Grease 2
Annette Funicello was originally signed on to play Ms. Mason, but dropped out due to schedule conflicts.
Peter Pan (2003)
With the exception of the Russian version, Piter Pan (1987) (TV), this is the first live action adaptation of J.M. Barrie's story to feature a male in the role of Peter.
Thumbelina
Angeline Ball was the live-action reference model for Thumbelina as well as for Goldie in "Rock-a-Doodle" which is another Don Bluth film.
The Phantom of the Opera
In April 2004 an audience of the stage version of "The Phantom of the Opera" in London were asked to stay behind at the end and record the sound effects for the movie. The sounds will be played during the chandelier crash.
Cinderella (2000)
The stepsisters are named Goneril and Regan, after the two conniving sisters in Shakesepeare's King Lear.
