Post the Five-Hundred and Fifty-Fourth - Don't Go For The One!!!!
The art museum runs a series of "Concerts in the Courtyard" and I was asked to usher at tonight's show.
Because it is an art museum I was thinking that it was a sedate, instrumental group and I was in for a calm night of soothing, peaceful, music.
I was wrong.
The first clue was the clothing most of the crowd was wearing, the second was the beer holders strapped to the mic stands. Yes, beer holders on the mic stands!!! just for that Gaelic Storm wins the "most awesome group ever!" award. (And if the beer stands aren't enough then the song called "The Night I Punched Russell Crow in the Head" should cinch it)
