I'm going out to Grand Rapids this weekend with Jono to hang out with our buds back home and then play a show on Saturday there. I can't wait. I miss Gietz, Nate, Kyle, and the gang. I think I'm gonna see some kids I haven't seen in 3 years, too. I don't miss that town nearly as much as I used to, but I sure do miss the people

They aren't always bad, it just depends on how you use 'em and sorry but it bothers me the way you use your stupid labels. Like people aren't good enough if they don't fit your perfect "straight edge" label? What's the difference is it really that important to be perfect?

straight edge isn't "perfect", straight edge is just a different lifestyle. 99% percent of my friends are NOT edge, and yes, they are MORE than "good enough" people. I'm sorry you were sadly misled, but to make assumptions that I think such things is completely ignorant.

Yeah well if being "straight edge" means absolutely never drinking smoking or doing drugs...no it's not perfect, but I mean people make mistakes and if I did then I wouldn't be straight edge any more and I disagree with that. Also, I'm not going to decide now what decisions I'm going to make for the rest of my life...I decide on the present. And it was not ignorance, I may have been misled, but if so it was your straight edge comments that were basically telling me I wasn't good or perfect enough to be considered straight edge.

if you are straight edge, NOTHING would lead you to make a mistake involving substances. the end.

straight edge isn't an elite group, it's not that you aren't "good enough" to be sXe, you just aren't, and that's cool. :)

Yeah well people change too and if I decided to be sXe now, I might not think the same 30 years later. I have committed myself to never smoke, do drugs, or drink during my teen years, but I probably will have the occational drink when I am old enough. To me, that is straight edge, because I am committing myself to wait and I will stick by that. But thanks, I really appreciate you telling me it's okay to not be straight edge :)
