What is up my people? System 86 here again... it has been over a month since I last gave you all an update. Myself and the NAR camp have been really busy as of late, but we have still been in communication with lots of you great people on the world wide web. So here is what is new for all you people who don't know.
First off, Kill Pop! Long Live METAL 666!!! in Toronto Ontario is coming up December 14th. This will be our last big show we will be filming for our DVD. Anyone in the GTA must come check it out. Club holds over 300 people, about 350 I think... and we have already moved 300 tickets. I know a lot of you are paying at the door. So I have no clue how all this is gonna go down... but it should be loads of fun! this is our first Toronto show in almost 6 months. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's faces. And as always in KPLLM tradition NAR has some crazy shit planned. don't miss it.
MP3.COM - So, mp3.com is officially shut down. over 90,000 downloads we have gotten there. We have been #2 in the metal charts, #1 in the metalcore, heavy metal, nu-metal, and the alternative metal charts. We had 9 of the top 10 spots in toronto metal charts (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10) all at one time. we had #1 and 2 in the all of canada charts, and "Shove" officially closed at #11 in the metal charts, beating out bands like staind, mudvayne, drowning pool, sevendust, lacuna coil, and many more.
thank you all for downloading all our shit every time I plugged our new mp3z. you helped us accomplish this. I want to give a big thanx to any of you who downloaded a song, made someone else download it, or posted the link to download our shit in your journal. Much love and respect! thank you all very much.
Finally, some new NAR news is on the way. I promise! Look for word on a new NAR demo very soon, we are gonna head into the studio to record some new material. Stuff unlike anything we have ever done.
The new NAR web page will be up soon, our web designer had his lap top stolen out of his dorm, but it was learned really fast who took it, and the situation was taken care of the NAR way, and he has his computer back.
