Settling in
We've added to the family again. Say hello to Alex. He's around 12 years old.
Alex was rescued by the SPCA from an animal-hoarding situation, along with another cat and eighteen dogs. He has some spots near his hindquarters where the fur is thin, because when he was rescued he had a severe flea infestation which resulted in dermatitis.
Considering the conditions he was rescued from, he's remarkably healthy, and amazingly good-natured. We figures he's spend at least two or three days hiding, but within a day he was exploring the apartment...much to Cougar's displeasure. (The two barely tolerate each other right now.)
What can I say? We're suckers for furbabies in need.
