I support stem cell research, but only as a by-product of my support for killing babies.
Some say homeless people want handouts. Others say they want jobs. I think we should just give them handjobs.
Much homework to do this week. No time for smoking and drinking and playing go. Matt moved into Lia's yesterday. That guy knows how to move. Sushi ensued.
Gotta get everything under control. Too much to think about.
I think I've decided I'm going to do my masters thesis on semigroups. They seem like a step in the right direction. They're like groups, but not necessarily containing an identity (or inverses). And they're a relatively fresh idea. Dr. Linton, at my school, had a really good idea that she got my advisor, a grad student friend, and another awesome teacher to work on. All four of these people are women. I'm going to be the only male working on semigroups at Cal Poly. Isn't that weird? Cal Poly is pretty backwards in terms of male/female teachers in math.
