When we feel like we are disobedient or struggle, we
picture it as a cycle. We are in God's presence and
when we fall we feel distant from Him, but after we
repent we see it as where we were before the
temptation and struggle. But if we really examen it,
it's more like a slinky. We feel everytime we fall we
fall a little bit farther and when we come back to
Him we don't feel like we're as high as we were. we
fall into a feeling of, "I guess this as good as it
gets" BUT IT"S NOT AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!! So where do
we find the solution between falling farther and the
situation not being something to settle with!! We have
to try harder> But most of the time our efforts in
trying are misplaced. Our culture of religion is built
around re-dedication and our efforts are what make us
acceptable to the Lord. We feel as if the Lord is
looking for a performance driven relationship because
that's what most of our earthly relationships are
like. BUT THAT'S NOT IT AT ALL!!!! What we really have
to devote of efforts to is trying hard to believe that
Jesus died for EVERYTHING when He died on the cross.
The Love of God says, " It has been done, all of it. I
LOVE YOU!! THAT"S IT!!" The book of judges is not
stories of disobedience and repentance, but stories of
a relentless pursuing God. It's hard to accept we're
accepted. (I'm going to type it again) It's hard to
accept we're accepted. But we are!! We have to take
our selves out of our works. Who gets the glory when
we break apart from our works and work hard to believe
that Jesus has done it all: JESUS DOES!!!!

Song: OK
Down on my knees down on my face
You just say it's ok
So many days I've thrown away
You just say it's ok
I don't think I could ever repay
Your perfect grace, but it's ok
It's ok, It's ok
It's ok, It's ok
You've become my embrace
Just tell me it's ok
Your precious words intoxicate
A heart that aches; it's ok
You don't recall my past mistakes
You just say it's ok
The human mind can't calculate
Your perfect grace, but it's ok
Even though you've seen a thousand times
I've let you down
You're always there if I should call your name
You're unashamed, unashamed
Until Next Entry . . . . .
Completely Undeserving,
Eternally Grateful,
Keith
