I Can't Believe I Fell For Someone Like You-Chapter 1
Taeyeon’s POV
I was walking down the hallway of my school on my way to class but decided to skip and walked to the school rooftop. I opened the door and saw the beautiful garden; I sat on a bench in the middle of the garden. This rooftop is the only place that shows the real me, I don`t know why but this place always calms me down.
Lunch Time
I was taking my lunch out of my backpack when suddenly the door opened and I turned back to how everybody sees me as the cold, mean, and hot tempered person before looking to see who it was, I never saw him around school before, must a newbie I thought. I continued to take my lunch out of my bag when suddenly someone covered the sunlight, I looked up to see who it was, and it was him again.
"What do you want?" I asked him coldly.
"Hi my name is Lee Jinki but, you can call me Onew. I`m new here and I hope we can be friends and I`m in my third year here." he replied with a smile and took out his arm for a handshake. I guess we`re in the same year.
"I asked you ' What do you want?' not 'Who are you?'" I said getting fired up. His smile fell and he started to look nervous .
"Well…I-I was…..j-just…" he said looking down at the ground like it was the most interesting thing here.
"Just what?” I asked him.
"Never mind" he said.
"Well if you have nothing else to say just leave" I told to him coldly. He just nodded and left.
When he left I looked around first before finally taking out my lunch with a smile, I was so hungry. I started to eat my favourite food, Kimbap, which I made myself and also have my grilled cheese sandwich and a box of milk, I`m short and I need to grow. I was smiling the whole time I was eating my lunch. The bell rang just in time I finished my lunch, I decided to go to class because at this time is my favourite class, Music Class. When I entered the classroom I walked right away to my desk. Not caring who was beside me I just sat down, the teacher came in and the fun class started but I didn't show it to everyone that I was having fun and just looked emotionless. When class ended I started to pack up and walked out the door to go to my next class.
After school
I was on my way home with my 8 sisters Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, Seohyun, and Sooyoung. Jessica and Sunny are 18 years old the same age as me, well if you`re asking how my mom could get three babies in one year and different months, well the thing is Sunny`s adopted but she`s so hyper just like Tiffany it`s like she was our real sister and Jessica well she`s my real sister, anyways moving on, and they`re are also in their third year, Tiffany and Hyoyeon are 17 years old, they`re both in their second year of high school, Yuri, Yoona, and Seohyun are triplets, and they`re 16 years old, I think that was the most painful 9 months my mom ever had and they`re in their first year in high school, and Sooyoung, well she`s also adopted and is the same age as the triplets but a few months older so that means she also in her first year in high school. We were walking as usual the girls talking and I was just silent and not paying any attention what so ever until Jessica said a certain topic.
"Did you guys see the new kid, Lee Jinki or as he wants people to call him Onew? I have a few classes with him." Jessica said.
"Yeah I saw him he was so cute, I love his smile." Sunny said and started to daydream for a little bit.
"Yeah we saw him, he looks nice." said the triplets.
"Well me and Tiffany saw him and it was a funny moment he tripped over his own foot hahahahahaha….it was still cute…hahahahahahahaha" Sooyoung said and everybody laughed well except me of course.
When we reached home I went straight to my room and started doing my homework, even though I skip classes I`m still smart for your information, then I took a shower and went downstairs and started to cook for dinner after I was done, we ate dinner and cleaned up after ourselves and went straight to our respective rooms and I went on my laptop for a little bit and went off to bed.
End of Taeyeon`s POV
The next morning
Onew`s POV
I woke up early in the morning to get ready for school, I went downstairs to have some breakfast, when I was finish I started to walk to school. While walking I suddenly remembered the girl on the rooftop yesterday, instead of going back downstairs, I went somewhere where she couldn't see me, I took out my lunch and ate it there, i looked back at the girl to see her eating her lunch happily. When I reached the school I saw my friends that I made yesterday Jonghyun, Kibum but preferred to be called Key, Taemin, Minho, Nickhun, Taeckyeon, Kyuhyun and others that I forgot their names. I walked up to them and started to go to our classes and went separate ways. I had homeroom with Jonghyun, when we reached class I went right away to my desk to put my bag there and went to Jonghyun`s desk. Then I saw the girl from yesterday, she went to the desk beside mine and settled herself down. That`s why the seat was empty, it was her seat but I saw her yesterday, she must`ve skipped, I thought.
"Hey Jonghyun who`s that girl that`s sitting beside my desk?" I asked Jonghyun.
"Oh her, well that's Kim Taeyeon she`s the smartest girl in this school but she tends to skip classes mostly the ones before lunch time, she`s pretty cold, mean and very hot tempered so don`t try to make her mad or else you`re going get hurt, the last person that made her mad had to get stitches. She doesn`t really have any friends, she likes to be alone most of the time and she has 8 sisters, two of her sisters are adopted, the 9 sisters are very beautiful especially Jessica, well to me, she`s the oldest out of the 9 sisters she`s also very beautiful but she never had a boyfriend before, don`t know why maybe because she`s so cold and I have never seen her smile not even to a joke no 'haha' or 'hehe', oh and they don`t have parents they died in an accident about 2 years ago, that`s all I know why?" Jonghyun asked.
"Nothing just curious. I saw her yesterday at the rooftop." I said smiling.
"Ah, did you talk to her?" Jonghyun asked.
"Yes I did." I told Jonghyun. "So, now i can confirm about her personality." I added and continued smiling.
When the teacher came in I went back to my seat and for the whole day I tried talking to her, but she seem to ignore me.
