in august, the person i rent my spare room to is planning to move out; i'll know what's up in a week or so, and will post with an update, but now is a good time to jump on this if interested.
any of you who either yourselves would like a new place to live, or know some one looking to rent a fairly cheap place close to nyc and mass transit should get in touch with me. I'm in Jersey city, just a block from st peter's college, and a short walk to journal square. the #10 bus, which goes to port authority on 42nd, stops right in from of the building.
my current roomie is willing to verify that i am a really nice landlord, good about cleaning, and good about being cool and flexible.
if you're paying more rent than you want, or are tired of shouldering cable, phone, utility, ect costs by your lonesome, or would like to spend less per month so you can save, invest or spend more, this is a great set-up.
the room is 15x13 feet, with 9 foot ceilings, a big closet, and the renter gets full access to kitchen, bathroom, and living room, all of which is already furnished; the kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, living room has a tv and ac, i have a dyson vaccuum cleaner...
Cable modem, wired or wireless network access, cable tv, a land line phone are also included. heat, hot water and electric also included; if you were a 24/7 air conditioner user, i might ask for a little extra, but rent would be only $700 bucks a month, everything included.
this is the room :
its a nice building, and my place is, if i do say so myself, very well decorated :
living room
kitchen, 12x12 feet :
yes, antique brass ceiling, mossaic tiled cabinets, and a black granite countertop.
if i didn't own this place, i myself would be attracted to an offer like this. please tell anyone interested to email me at agostinellijp@hotmail.com or reply here.
