(no subject)
Ok, so tried to put pics up on facebook but they are too big - haven't worked out new camera yet . . .
I'm really really enjoying NZ - it's really laid back and cool and it doesn't feel as chain store as AU. Auckland was quite fun, with aforementioned antics and drunkeness. Leon's bottle of duty free gin also helped the night along and as a result we didn't see huge amounts of Auckland but can't wait to get back and check out the shops and the museum.
It's rained pretty much non stop since we've arrived in Rotorua - hasn't been too bad though we've still managed to do everything we set out to do. The hostel we are staying in is fantastic too they've given us lots of advice so we've managed to avoid some of the more lame tourist traps.
The hot springs today were incredibly beautiful with views of the lake. They turned out to be way to hot for me though and I fainted in a toilet cubicle (classy, no?) and had to be fished out by a kindly spa attendant.
On to hot water beach tomorrow which should be great.
