So life as a married woman is in full swing right now, so much so I haven't even had time to tell you all how the wedding went. Let's ust say it was very nice and there is a website coming. We're picking up the rest of our photo's this afternoon so we'll scan them all in later and hopefull they'll all be online by tonight.
For those who can't wait
We have pictures of the honeymoon as well and our party that we had on Friday. I'll be a busy girl tonight.
Right now though I've just arrived home from my second lecture of the semester. It sounds as though I'm in for an awesome time. Yesterday was my Visual Anthropology lecture. I've done this before so I know what it entails, that is, making my very own ethnographic film. Minimal seminar time, maximum practical filming and editing time. It's a fun module, one I enjoyed very much before and shall again no doubt. Today's lecture was Geneology. Yes I do get to learn how to make family tree's and the assessment is...wait for it....creating two geneologies. And not "ask your parents what they remember", proper ass hunting for details with public records. I've got 2 more modules this sememster, one of which is ethnographic film (where we get to watch lots of video's...nice and easy) and the other is Computer Applications for Social Research. This one, though I dont know the difficulty level, has to be a practical module. So all in all I'm very pleased with how things are turning out.
My other adventure at university was taking Toby to join the Swansea Anime and Manga Society. Started out ok. We arrived in plenty of time, had a giggle while the commitee failed to get a dvd to play yet could turn the light on and off and on and off and on again. After about an hour of sitting there they managed to get the dvd to play. Hurrah! It was even Azumanga Daioh. Double Hurrah! Everyone bar about 3 people voted to watch it in Japanese. And then it broke. Fortunatly the team had the backup plan of watching Appleseed instead. It was at this point we wondered what the hell we'd let ourselves in for and how we could escape without being noticed. Escape was not needed though as Appleseed broke as well *thank the lord*. Fingers crossed they get everything sorted by next week. Seems like a good group to be part of though. They're very geeky (as to be expected) but no where near the same level as the LAC mob.
Have to go to work soon so I'd better post this and get on. Full time education, 34 hours a week working in a shop and runnign a home. How do I find the time to sleep ;)
