Senators John Kerry and John Edwards to appear at NC State on Saturday July 10th.
Sen. John Kerry and Sen. John Edwards have chosen North Carolina State University - Edwards’ alma mater - as the setting for their first joint appearance in North Carolina since Edwards was selected as Kerry’s running mate for the presumed Democratic Party ticket in the 2004 presidential election.
Kerry, his wife Teresa Heinz Kerry, Edwards and his wife Elizabeth will appear at NC State for a campaign rally on the afternoon of Saturday, July 10. The event will be staged outdoors at the Court of North Carolina, located on NC State’s main campus. The event area is behind Tompkins, Caldwell and Winston halls - which face Hillsborough Street - and is close to the NC State Belltower.
