Valuable driving information is regularly released from the Vermont Agency of Transportation and the Vermont State Police. They come in a bulletin format provided by the Vermont Road Traveler Information Service.

This just came out today...
"Driving Conditions Difficult - Windham Co.
Windham Co. extremely hazardous driving conditions, slippery, surface water hazard, ice, icy patches, black ice, ice build up, freezing rain, wet and icy roads, ice glaze, severe weather, ice storm, sleet
Comment: USE EXTREME CAUTION HEAVY ICE TREES ARE FALLING USE CAUTION ON THE ROADS FOR ICE AND FALLING TREES
last updated today at 1:10 PM"

How much longer can we idly sit back and allow these deadly Ice Tress to prey on unsuspecting flatlanders? When will we, at long last, rise up and put a stop to the Ice Trees that have harried our forefathers to this very day? It's high time we stop making excuses for them. Vermonters must recognize that if an Ice Tree could, it would kill you and everyone you loved. The time to act is now; the enemy are Ice Trees.
