Waiting for Life to Begin

Friday Night was spent traveling to see Once on this Island performed by Theatre Horizon. I had to get a train into center city and then find the 124 bus line to king of prussia. I really had no Idea what I was doing but I really wanted to see this show. I landed ok- one block past the intersection I wanted. So i had to walk on a highway. Then i kinda got lost in the neighborhoods of king of Prussia. But i ended up finding the theatre ok with plenty of time. It was opening night so I dressed up. We had a nice red carpet to walk on- it was really fun!
I saw a lot of people that I new in the lobby before hand. Heidi Hayes, my amazing teaching for the Walnut Street Theatre was there and said hello. Big night of networking!
The show itself was amazing. So much energy a really committed ensemble. I loved it. All the performers were incredible- I am so happy I went. My main 2 reasons for going were to see my friends Peter and Geri. Peter was my musical director for Fiddler on the Roof and now I see him for voice- Peter Hilliard is AWESOME. Geri Will be a BFA Musical Theatre Major at Pace University with me. It was great to see them. It was a night of pure fun. There was an opening night party that was amazing to be apart of. The group is clearly going places!

Saturday Sauls Party- Barrels of fun!
Sunday KT's 20th birthday party, which involved a slip n slide. I thought that the Slip N Slide was SOO much fun
I tried to do as many cool things as possible on it- had a great time... but when i woke up monday morning i was soar all over!!! My neck snapped like 3 times and now I can barely move. After KT's Saul and I took a long walk through Glenside- we found Saylor house and gave him some cookies- i hope he likes them.
I need to find a way to make money during my days. I am really busy doing things but going to NYC and paying college bills i need to have some extra cash. And right now I have nothing. I can't work nights. Icky!
anyway...

July Already?!?!?! Nah

Been a crazy summer.
I am really busy with rehearsals for both Sweeney Todd and Suessical. Suessical is less of a demand. I go when i want and contribute what i can while I am there.
Sweeney is really awesome though- we have gone through so much- our music director left AND our director quit. But we are doing really well with what we have- I love it! I love being Tobias it is everything i could have dreamed about.

Saturday I saw my brothers show- It was a day spent with him. It was a fun concert at some random party. I had a pretty good time- It was nice to be able to support him in something.
Sunday I went to the Walnut Street theatre.
I saw Carousel
starting Jeff Coon and Julie Hansen. That is a show that I think will always get me. For all of act II I was ready to burst out into tears- if i was with Cherubs or really close friends I'm sure that i would have cried more vocally. It was such a great production. There is no way the i could have sang "You'll Never Walk Along" for my graduation song- it has such a sad connotation to it. I say this all the time but I really love philly theatre. Mary Martello was lovely- although I would like to see her in a more maternal role sometime soon because i think she is a real sweetie and the last few roles she has played were meany heads. But yea the show was really great!
I don't think i blogged about Hair which had Jonathan Shade and Alyse Wojciechowski and they are both so amazing. I love Hair so much- it was an amazing production to see!

Sunday Night I saw the new Michael Moore movie Sicko- i really loved it. You should definitely go see it. It gives you perspective and it's totally awesome. I don't know why people chose so hard not to believe movies like that. Sure there might be some cinema and propaganda techniques involves but the cold hard facts are plain to see. Hopefully this will make a huge change for the world- but that's kind of what i thought during Fahrenheit 9-11.

ooo at like 2am this morning i FINALLY saw Lynn Babers commercial for Scrubbing bubbles!!! woohoo- she was soo cute!!!
