As long as you keep moving forward you will be fine. Keep reaching for your goals and don't look back. Even if the massage thing doesn't work out - its not the end of the world - just try something else until you find what you want. Everyone has things that they want to forget - you can't change your past but you most definitely can make your future. No matter what, you are in control of your life now, not your parents, friends or boyfriend. You can be influenced by everyone and everything around you but ultimatley the choices you make are yours. Make the right ones. You know, your parents may have had a bad marriage at the end but they both certainly want whats best for you - they just can't seem to get over their anger at each other and unfortunately you kids got stuck in the middle of that mess. Last I heard you were living with Dad because it was too chaotic at your Moms but don't love being there with him and Tara either. Are you still there? Wherever you are try to make the best of your situation for now - it will not be permanent. When you get on your feet, you can get out and have a place of your own with some friends or your boyfriend(is Tom still in the picture?) and be away from all of that stress.
