(no subject)
I don't do livejournal as religiously as I was going to.. oh well, better things in life.
This weekend's been tight. I realized Friday I have absolutely NO HOMEWORK or long term projects. There are small exceptions I'll do during the week but this must be the first time nothing is hanging over my head, I don't know what to do when I'm not feeling.. pushed down, when doing things for fun isn't wrong cuz of the work I'm not doing. 0wnage. This respite is brought to you in full by Lull in Ms. Ivey's Class™ brand air fresheners.
Ice skating was neat. I had never ever ever done it before and while the entire venture could be dubbed "n00bs on ice" for a few of us, I think I learned a lot (even if it didn't show that much). I injured 3 digits, both thumbs and my right pinky.... oh well. As I said to Todd, I'm still in base ten.
I don't think I'll do ARML this year, even though it was kind of my one chance to shine. I'll live... and live well.
OH YEAH TODD AND I well see we were staying after for arml thursday right (thank you arml) and and they were having mr blazer auditions which i hardly even considered signing up for but todd was like HEY LET"S DO THAT and we write this script (actually todd richard and i wrote it but it was mostly todd) while like the last 4 acts went and we made a hilarious guide to women starring todd, and renee was around so we added her for one of our tips and we go up there and they're like um sure show us what you've got and we read this shit passing the paper between us it was great and the spontaneity of it all is simply wondrous and then yesterday i found out WE GOT IN, WE ARE COMPETING IN THE MR. BLAZER COMPETITION ISN'T THAT COOL??? isn't it just BEAUTIFUL??? so you've got to come see it my friends, whether you cheer your lungs out or boo us off the stage
.. actually don't come if you PLAN on doing that last one
but, it was so great because we were wandering around with nothing to do (couldn't even think of a place to drive to) and i said damn, we ought to do something wild and fun and spur-of-the-moment and possibly illegal - and then holy shit this golden opportunity slaps us in the face and we seize it before it can flee and in the end it comes - can you hear it? - begging us to kick more ass!! DAMN WE ARE HOT
