Firstly, let me express my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the 3 students and professor that lost their lives. Such a tragedy is unimaginable and Hogwarts will never be the same.
Any bloody bastards who would attack defenseless children deserve nothing less than a kiss from a dementor. Although I'm not sure what the dementor would suck out, seeing as how they have no souls to begin with.
I'm in the hospital wing. I should be thankful that I'm alive and that my arm is still attached to my body, but it's bloody awful in here. The burn-healing paste smells horridly of cabbage or something. Thankfully though, Dr. House has been most kind to me, as stressed as he is.
Feel free to pay a visit. I've already finished reading my book and written letters to nearly all of my family members and acquaintances. Pretty soon I'm going to start making paper birds and magicking them to fly across the room. So please, for my sanity...

Despite tragic losses... I think we all acted like the professional, skilled witches and wizards that we are. I feel that our calm under pressure was what helped to deter greater casualties. We did what we could, and we should all be proud of that.
