Well, at least this mishap was not caused by the castle itself. Maybe. Unless the castle also has the ability to affect the atmosphere around it, which I wouldn't doubt, honestly.
I know that some of you are going to try to use Vanishing Spells to get rid of some of this water, but I'd like to discourage you from doing that. That spell is very advanced and when performed incorrectly, it ends up sending the water elsewhere in the castle. So if you find the idea of a bucketful of water landing on your head during lunch distasteful, then I suggest you not try this spell. The staff will have this matter sorted out very quickly. Just salvage whatever supplies you can from the flood.
Soldier on, Hufflepuffs and Slytherins. Puffs, feel free to come to me with issues. I know that this isn't anything that you can't handle. Perhaps you'll make some friends with some Gryffindors or Ravenclaws, eh?
