09 I read the news today, oh boy
I read the Daily Prophet this morning while eating my eggs benedict. I could not finish my breakfast. And I really like eggs benedict.
These attacks are heinous. They make me physically ill. Anyone who could willingly raise their wand and do harm to an innocent creature is a monster fit for Azkaban. I fear that this isn't just some dissatisfied teen counterculture. These Death Eaters, as they call themselves, seem to be organizing and making their name even more well known. Hopefully the Ministry will respond appropriately.
Fortunately we're safe behind the impenetrable walls of Hogwarts. Although sometimes I wonder if this castle doesn't have it in for all of us anyway.
But I fear for my mum and for others out the outside. Mostly I fear for the muggles, who have no idea what this is and absolutely no line of defense against it. We all know that they're frequently the target of attacks of this nature.
