I hope all of your holidays were fabulous over these last two weeks. From Christmas to Hanukkah, I hope everyone received what they wanted and took some time to rejuvinate themselves after a stressful (for the most part) first semester of school. And if you weren't recovering from the stresses of college life, I hope you took time off from your day-to-day activities that otherwise wore you down. Take this last day or two to relax in anyway possible, I'm positive you've deserved it! :)
A quick recap: For Christmas I got a bunch of little things: five Adam Sandler DVDs, a Crest Whitestrips whitenting system, the new My Chemical Romance CD, three pairs of pajama pants, coloring pencils for Anatomy (and for coloring in general :P), some movie sized candies to eat while watching my DVDs, and Vera Wang's "Princess" perfume (AMAZING). Other than that my mom owes me a pair of sneakers because after one semester at Hartwick this pair of white Etnies (white was a stupid idea, haha) is trashed. Then I'll be getting some ink cartridges for my printer at school, because Crooker was a nutjob and completely raped me of my black ink.
Anyway, after Christmas my dad brought us down to visit my Grandfather's grave. I thought I was going to bust a tear or something, but as I was trying to tie the card onto his little flower display, I slammed my head into the glass. It may seem weird, but in that moment I felt as if he was there trying to make the atmosphere less awkward and attempting to relieve some tension that had built up. Soon after, my mother, brother and I were in an uproar at my stupidity and they were both trying to figure out how the heck I slammed my head on the window... His grave was cute though--My cousin had made a little card from his "wife, children, grandchildren, and canine buddies" that celebrated his "First Christmas in Heaven." It's always cute to have a positive spin on such a dreary topic like death. So after 10 minutes and a faceprint on the glass inside the mausoleum, we decided to leave and to go visit my grandmother. We spent pretty much the rest of the afternoon there and we were home by dinner time, except we ate so much KFC that we were way too full to even attempt to eat again. That day ended up being rather fun. My grandmother is a hoot.
Lately I've been trying to relax while I still can or I can be found hanging out with Kayt. Last night at her house was so much fun :) I really suck at DDR, but we played it--kind of--and it was fun. I kinda want it. But I really do suck, hahaha.
Well, I can only spend so much time writing in this before it gets completely and utterly boring :P
Best wishes for a safe and incredibly Happy New Year :)
Farewell my loves <3
