Awesomeness at home!
I'm home. After being at school for 3 weeks with no return, it's nice to say that I'm home. It's nice to be here on most occasions. In fact, I'll go as far as to say that I just might enjoy it. Sure--I do miss my freedom and extremely random and unforgiving friends at Hartwick, but the comfort of being at home with my family and long-term friends is pretty freakin' nice too.
I'll be honest... this IE window with my journal has been sitting in my taskbar for days since I went out to dinner with The Crew and Wess. It's "The Crew and Wess" because Wess isn't necessarily part of The Crew; The Crew was formed before Wess was even in the picture, so he doesn't really count... Sorry man! Anyway. The Crew and I had decided that night (that night being Monday the 18th) to go out to dinner at Red Robin and then head up to Toga to walk around and find something to do. Both ideas had sounded great at the time, yet none of us had thought "oh gee, it's a Monday night and nothing will be going on in Toga" so when we got up there it was SO boring. Let's talk about the food: A) It was deeee-lish. B) The service there was WACK. C) We left a 32 cent tip along with some lint. (Okay so I'm joking about the lint...) Annnd D) We didn't have NAPKINS. Needless to say it was an interesting night at Red Robin. I believe the waitress visited our table 4-ish times throughout the whole time we were there. Which wouldn't be too bad, except we were trying to get napkins 50% of the time and I had to flag down some other waitress who gladly grabbed them for us. *Sigh* Service these days...
Last night (the 21st) I had visited Kayt's and Trean was there with her little sister. We had a sweet pow wow and ordered PIZZA. Mmm, you can't go wrong with buffalo chicken pizza. As we're waiting for it to be delivered, Kayt decides to begin a wrapping paper cardboard tube face-off and Trean decides to wack the shit out of Jess' face which was hilarious although it shouldn't have been :P Then we tried wrapping irregular shaped gifts and it was rather entertaining. We found out that Trean wraps weird and that her style looks cool with striped wrapping paper. Then we ate the fabulous pizza that had arrived and watched Rob and Big FOREVER. P.S. That's one show I could watch all day and not get sick of it...
Well, I kinda wanna write a venting blog, but I might save that for a later date seeing as I would LOVE to read my book : )
