East coast dream
I had a dream last night that I was in New York. My father and I were in a cab towards a family friend's apartment in Queens, we were going to stay there till morning, when we will be driving up to Philly. In my dream I was so excited and happy to see New York at night again.. I was crying. It was something that I wanted for so long... my dad thought I was being stupid and then it turned into day and we were heading to Philly and I woke up.
I remember that feeling when I went to the east coast last summer. It felt... great. Just to be there again. In Grey's Anatomy, one of the quotes from McDreamy was, "I'm from New York, I'm genetically engineered to dislike everywhere. Except Manhattan." It's such a true quote. Although I will be missing California, the beaches, my friends, the casual-ness. The day I will be moving back to New York will make me so ecstatic. It may just be Philadelphia.. but I'm getting closer to New York as each day passes. And I could not be any more excited.
I honestly can't wait.
